32 Week Update

Well, I've let it go again, but not too much has changed besides time.  We're now at 32 weeks, which means I have less than 2 months to go...WHAT?!  I got a text that another child in my parent's group of friends is going in for their C-Section today, just about a week early from their original due date.  Crazy that truly, at any given time she could decide to come or the Dr. could change the whole plan!

I just realized too that I never posted anything about the fact that around week 27 my office at work threw me a surprise shower! Below are a few pictures of the wonderful time we had at a local (and one of our favorites) Lista's.

Been super busy again with the folks coming in from Kentucky and enjoying a nice long weekend with them, and getting the nursery ready it's been exciting! :) More updates and pictures after the TMI section of the week of the Squash!

At week 32, your baby weighs in at about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds and measures about 15.2 to 16.7 inches. She's likely to be in the head-down position now, getting ready for her descent -- the journey down the birth canal. And not a minute too soon, because at this point, she's probably feeling even more cramped inside Mommy. (From thebump.com)

How Far Along: 32 Weeks 2 Days

Total Weight Gain: I'm up 5 lbs over my initial weight in total...so I'd say I'm doing pretty well.

Best Moments This Week: Realizing that what will be will be, and there's only so much I can do.  I've sort of come across this calm that I've accepted as the "Calm before the storm."  As we approach her arrival I'm sure I'll get more frantic again, but for now we have a good bit ready for her arrival!

Gender: No more sonograms to suggest anything but a girl! (Murphy had better back off ! haha

Movement: All the time, busiest is usually around 9am.

Food Craving: Cravings have sort of curbed...for now it's Milkshakes to help combat heartburn more than anything else.

Sleep: Sleep is still pretty elusive.  Hoping I have a spell of excellent nights' sleep soon. ;)

What I am Looking Forward To: Next Dr. appoint will probably be one of the last "every other week" appointments, before we move to weekly.  It's still just so crazy!

Symptoms: Same ole', back pain...but heartburn has definitely started with a vengeance as well. Oh well, all worth it right? :)

So I'll complete this entry with some pictures of the O's game we went to when my folks were in town. Enjoy and until next time! <3
